I have had the Morning Star soy sausage patties and they weren't too shabby. I can eat them when I want a little break from real sausage. They do have around 3 net carbs I believe which is more than my turkey sausage I usually have, which depending on the brand is 1 net carb or none.

I haven't looked into the Fiber One bars I've been missing granola like bars. I'll have to check them out. Low carb is typically defined as eating under 100 carbs a day, which may mean they are OK for some people. My body unfortunately doesn't handle to many carbs too well, so I'm on the low end of the carb intake.

Thanks for visiting I hope you try some recipes. I'll post a few every week!!! :-)

Do you like the morning star soy sausage patties? I'm not sure of the carb count on those, but I'm pretty sure they are South Beach compliant. They fill me up.

Also, have you tried Gnu flavor and fiber bars? Karen, my dietician friend from SU, recommended those. They hvae less sugar and more fiber than Fiber One bars. They still have carbs, but are better than other "breakfast bars". The oatmeal raisin one is the best, I think.

I LOVE BREAKFAST!
